Concert Band

The Wildwood High School Concert Band is the most visible of the bands at Wildwood High School. The band performs at many of the parades taking place in South Jersey along with performing at various adjudications and competitions. The band is currently working on raising funds to compete in Virginia Beach next spring.
Jazz Ensemble

The Jazz Ensemble is our most advanced performing ensemble. Entrance to the ensemble is by audition and is limited to 15 students only. This group performs and several jazz ensemble competitions during the year, and will also be accompanying the concert band to Virginia Beach next spring.
Choir

The High School Choral program is designed to enhance the musical, creative and expressive qualities of it’s members. Musical opportunities are provided for students to learn the basic skills of singing and reading music and developing song repertoire. High school choir rehearses after school and has several performances throughout the school year. The high school choir is under the direction of Adrienne C. Laigaie. Mrs. Laigaie is a music educator at Glenwood Avenue Elementary School, Wildwood Middle School and Wildwood High School. She studied music at Westminster Choir College and Lebanon Valley College.
Eco Club

The Eco Club focuses on getting students energized about taking care of the Earth & experiencing nature. Students are given opportunities to help our local environment by participating in beach clean ups & the annual horseshoe crab census. A variety of outdoor activities are offered to get the students out into their local ecosystems.

The Wildwood High School Theatre Guild is proud to entertain the Warrior Nation with our annual productions. Each we present a classic winter tale with a Wildwood twist. Our members are talented and dedicated and rehearse all fall to produce an epic show! We are also proud of our members of the Stage and Technical Crew who help to build and paint sets as well as work on illuminating our on stage members. Members also work hard to sell advertisements and make a beautiful play bill. Please make sure to mark your calendars! The show is not to be missed!
National Honor Society

The Wildwood High School Chapter of the National Honor Society work diligently to uphold the four membership precepts of Character. Scholarship, Leadership, and Service. Members must complete community service projects and are expected to be role models for their peers. Members are held to the highest standards of behavior and are expected to maintain a 3.5 Grade Point Average throughout their high school careers. We are proud to serve and represent the Warrior Nation.

Recognizing Our Own True Selves
(A Multicultural Organization)
Grades 6th-12th
R.O.O.T.S. (Recognizing Our Own True Selves) is not only a multicultural organization but a service organization which aspires to bridge the gap between students, staff and community by recognizing the importance of themselves as diverse and culturally rich students in WHS/WMS and the community, recognizing the importance of their teachers to their education and recognizing the importance of their parents/guardians and families.
Renaissance

Renaissance Club rewards students who demonstrate academic excellence, personal responsibility, and compliance with all school rules and attendance guidelines. Students are determined quarterly based upon a review of their attendance, discipline records, and grades (all grades must be an A or a B). Renaissance students are role models for other students. Each marking period Renaissance students will be invited to breakfast, lunch, or an ice cream party sponsored by community businesses. A field trip in the Spring is a reward trip for students who made Renaissance throughout the year.
Student Council
Student Council is an organization conducted by students and supervised by adults. The purpose of the student council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, the student council is the voice of the student body. They help share student ideas, interests and concerns with the school wide community.
Yearbook Club

The yearbook club creates the yearbook by taking pictures, captioning photos and organizing layouts.
WAVE 21
The Wildwood Public Schools 21st Century Community Learning Center After School Program provides a safe learning environment and quality after school program to students, which supports their success through social, cultural, physical and intellectual development. The program strives to ensure that all students are able to participate in inquiry – based innovative, hands-on, fun activities that facilitate creativity, curiosity, and intuitiveness.
